Megan’s previous kitchen was a nice, simple kitchen but it didn’t meet the needs of her family. She had previously had her house valued and discovered that the quality of fixtures and fittings in her kitchen weren’t up to par with the rest of her lovely home.
Summit Kitchens had previously custom built Megan a wall unit that encompaased a book case and fireplace surround. It was important to continue the same quality and style through into the kitchen.
MEGAN – ON HER KITCHEN RENOVATION
“Having had Summit Kitchens work on our fireplace surrounds and bookcases the previous year, we wanted to carry through the same details into the kitchen.
We spent a lot of time with Ashley and his team intentionally considering every drawer, cupboard and workspace to make sure it would work for us now and in the future.
With the help of Ashley and his amazing team we now not only have a beautiful, functional and impressive kitchen but believe it now reflects the standard and quality of the rest of our home.”

“With the help of Ashley and his amazing team we now not only have a beautiful, functional and impressive kitchen but believe it now reflects the standard and quality of the rest of our home.”
Megan wanted to extend the kitchen and change the layout of the centre island to better accommodate the whole family with seating. The main focus was to lift the overall appearance of the kitchen with a traditional modern look that wouldn’t date and to incorporate a larger oven. Also to be refurbished was the butlers pantry and a study nook.
The cabinetry in this kitchen was paired with tiled pressed tin inspired splashback which created a feeling of nostalgia for Megan as it reminded her of her great grand parents home which featured pressed tin on the walls throughout.
